The Movie of the Week: Gran Torino
I had always remembered Clint Eastwood as a cowboy when I was spending my childhood afternoons with my father watching Clint's movies. I have to say, I don't like cowboys films at all, but it was a very good waste of time with my father.
So, as I said before, I had always remembered Clint as a cowboy and a macho man, until I saw Million Dollar Baby. A great film, without doubt, and when we thought he could not do it better…. Ta-dah! He made Gran Torino.
Without wishing to spoil you the movie (you can see the plot summary here), I can only say, it is wonderfully emotive, and I went out of the cinema crying of seeing again a masterpiece of the great Clint Eastwood. So he is proving he does it better and better. Can't wait to watch his next movie "The Human Factor". We'll see.
